If you have the rerelease of European Air War (with the Infogrames logo on the CD), the patch is available on the CD, inside of the Patch folder. It is identical to the above patch; you do not need to download this one. The 1.2 patch assumes you’ve already installed and played European Air War 1.0. If you’ve installed the 1.0 version but haven’t run it yet, before installing the 1.2 patch, you must start a game on 1.0 and get into flight. A simple way to do this is to run the game, and select Quick Start from the main menu. Once you see your plane in the air, you may quit out and install the 1.2 patch. If you attempt installing the 1.2 patch without having played the 1.0 version, you will likely receive an error message from the patching program.
