|
Braveheart is based on the Academy Award-winning film directed by and starring Mel Gibson. Film excerpts and dialogue from the original movie have been included, plus hours of new dialogue from Angus McFadyen who plays Robert the Bruce in the film. This current version of the Braveheart demo supports Glide, software and D3D. The program files "brave.exe", "bhsoft.exe" and "bhd3d.exe" correspond to the above platforms. Compatability tests have been carried out with most graphic cards however some problems may persist with the Direct3D version on some cards. Setting your desktop to 800x600 16bit colour may help with some problems of the d3d version.
This demo includes a "Raid the Town" mission that can be played as a spy
or as a full-on raid, and (in the Game Features section) a "Take the Field"
mission.
Note: the brightness slider in the game seems inactive, so you may need
to turn up your monitor's brightness quite high to view the playing field.
