This manual patch is only necessary if you are having trouble autopatching the game. To check if your version is still 1.03 or before and requires the patch, from the Age of Mythology Main Menu, click More then About Age of Mythology.
This v1.04 update fixes an exploit that worked around the firing delay on ranged units, a scenario editor trigger corruption issue introduced in version 1.03, and a "stats error 2,4" problem.
Any scenarios saved using version 1.03 that contain "Set Tech Status" triggers may have had some of their parameters cleared and will have to be manually repaired.
