Description
QUAKE III: Team Arena brings a lethal mix of new power-ups and weapons into the fight. The flesh-shreading nail gun and chain gun make quick work of enemy combatants, and the new proximity mine launcher provides an added dose of defensive firepower. Also new to the game are the team power-ups Scout (speed boost), Guard (a health and armor enhancement), Doubler (damage boost) and Ammo Regeneration. Additionally, two new carried items add a fresh layer of strategic depth. The Invulnerability converts players into virtually indestructible human turrets, while the kamikaze redefines the term "devastating" with an enormous blast radius that shatters friends and foes alike.
