Client v9.2.2 for Out of the Park Baseball 9 includes the following improvements:
• Pitchers in 7-Day Lineups - You can now assign starting pitchers in the 7-Day Lineups page, giving you full control over your team when you sim a week at a time! Online leagues, rejoice!
• Lock player - In the Player Strategy screen, you can now lock a player into a specific position, so that the AI will not change the player's position when setting depth charts and lineups. This feature is great if you don't worry too much about your minor leagues, but you really want to teach certain individual players certain positions!
They didn't stop there, either! With some excellent help from the beta team, they've also made some substantial improvements to the play-by-play mode. The text itself is improved, as is the flow of the games. More stats and rankings are now mentioned during play-by-play as well. Improvements have also been made to the overall in-game text, such as news stories!
