Matrix Games (www.matrixgames.com) and Koios Works are pleased to share the Panzer Command: Kharkov Google Earth Tour with gamers who are looking forward to the highly anticipated release of Panzer Command: Kharkov. The tour is an operational overview of the second battle of Kharkov in May, 1942, focusing on the German Campaign of the 14th Panzer Division as portrayed in Panzer Command: Kharkov.

Abridged instructions:
Step 1. Download the latest version of Google Earth (GE). (Older versions of GE
had bugs which would not allow the tour to work correctly.)
Step 2. Download and unzip PCK.kml to your computer and double click on it (or
open it from the file menu of GE), this will open the Kharkov data into GE.
Step 3. In your temporary places you should now have a new folder called Panzer
Command Kharkov, double click on this to open it, you will be zoomed to the
Ukraine. It may be worthwhile panning around the Kharkov area first to make sure
your data caches are filled.
Step 4. Deselect the Primary Database in the Layers Frame which is found on the
left side of GE. This will ensure that no extraneous data gets overlayed on the
Kharkov demo.
Step 5. You will notice two subdirectories, "German Operations" and "Place
Names". Make sure that the check box next to "Place Names" is selected. This
ensures all place names are displayed.
Step 6. Now expand the content under "German Operations" by clicking the plus
sign next to it, this will give you two further subdirectories "Day by Day" and
"Tour Engagements". You know can enjoy the operational demonstration is several
ways:
* If you want to Sit back and enjoy a flying overview of the tactical battles
featured then select "Tour Engagements" and press play.
* If you would rather control the action and see more detail of the particulars
of the operation the select "Day by Day" and the check each day of interest.
* If you want to Tour Engagements with the front off then select "Day by Day"
and select "Turn Front Off".
* If you want to view the action "Day by Day" and don't want all the engagements
shown, select "Tour Off".
Each battlefield and several features/units are hyperlinked so click on them to
bring up further information, it is possible to view the debriefing screens for
each of the tactical battles in this way.
