The couple, 46 year-old Kelly Kane Davalos and 31 year-old Nathan Davalos, exchanged vows in front of an audience of more than 1,600 fellow gamers, and then sealed the deal through their EverQuest® II avatars at computers perched on the altar. Costume clad and officiated by a pastor and an EQII Guide, the wedding procession was led into the event’s Grand Banquet by members of the world’s definitive imperial costuming organization, The 501st, and two well-known princesses from the EverQuest® franchise, Firiona Vie and Antonia Bayle. Broadcast on huge screens, the ceremony was a hit with Fan Faire attendees, as well as with in-game guests who threw virtual fireworks and snowballs at the happy couple once the union was complete.
