Time of Defiance 5.450.1 has now been released to the auto-update server and to the main download pages for all users. This release sees the completion of the spring cleaning on all of the unit menus along with a number of fixes, tweaks and other updates. 5.450 also sees the re-introduction of camera tracking modes -- roof cam, track from here, stay relative to and also fly-by camera. These modes are available on F6-F9 (with F5 to cancel). Clicking on an already moving unit from empire view will automatically engage "track from here" mode. There will be a user-interface menu for these tracking modes in the next release.

| Requirements/Recommendations

Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000 or Windows XP. We recommend Windows 2000 or Windows XP. You need at least 64MB of RAM, and a 3D video card with DirectX8 drivers. You will also require DirectX8.1, and your video card should support 800 x 600 displays in 32 bit colour. A sound card is optional.

If you are upgrading from a previous version of Time of Defiance it is important that you completely uninstall before installing version 5. Failure to do this can result in a corrupted install.
