In the summer of 2005, Jowood were introduced to tank Commander David Render who travelled across Europe during WWII right into the heart of Nazi Germany with A Squadron, 8th Armoured Brigade (Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry).
Jowood recorded a collection of mini documentaries with David, who recounted some of his most memorable times during World War II when tanks became a major weapon in the campaign against the might of the German Army. He has - so far - covered topics such as; SS foot soldiers up close and personal, how German snipers were the biggest danger for tank commanders, friendly fire and Mans best friend.
In this latest mini documentary, David talks about a stray German dog that swapped allegiance and lived in the British tank with the rest of the team. So, where do you keep your pet dog in the heat of battle?
