This free 14-day trial is the perfect introduction to the world of Dark Age of Camelot. From the opening video that presents the three Realms, Albion, Hibernia and Midgard in breathtaking detail, on to your immediate immersion into the tutorial that will draw you into the game, until finally your actual participation in combat on the battlegrounds. You'll quickly level up to experience Realm vs. Realm combat (RvR) Mythic's unique take on PvP combat. Are you prepared for the challenge? Our battlegrounds are open!
This new build brings the trial up to date with the latest version of the game and includes the following:
- * The complete content from the original Dark Age of Camelot and from the
Shrouded Isles expansion
- * Catacombs Engine Upgrades
- o Character customization options - e.g. face personalization
- o New pre-game and user interface screens
- o New hi-res graphics and remodeled player figures
- o All updated monster models.
- · Tower Razing
- o Now actually see towers crumble to the earth in RvR conflicts
- · RvR missions
- o Bringing missions to RvR presents players with new goals and rewards
including caravan attacks and guarding, tower razing and keep sieges.
- · New Town Artwork
- o New higher resolutions textures and models for many of the major towns
in all three Realms of Dark Age of Camelot.
- · New Player Movie and Tutorial
- o An introductory movie that explains the back story and world of Dark
Age of Camelot
- o A new player tutorial which introduces the basics of playing Dark Age
of Camelot including a professional voice-over.
Note: At the end of the 14-day trial players will have the option to go on to
become subscribers with the characters they have built up during the trial
period.
